So I know that a lot of people have their Driver's License and all, and of course we all have stories that we get pulled over for. Usually, a cop only pulls you over when you do something WRONG.

I get pulled over on a regular basis for being a minor driver >_> Y'know, under 15 and without a license or permit. Happened 7 times now. In 2 years of driving.

Today, I was going up a fairly used road that now connects to our highway, and even at noon traffic was pretty busy. It's like, the idle down the road kind of traffic. Oh look, there's a cop car on the left side of the road writing someone a ticket. No big deal. I'm behind a truck, right? Like a high truck that you have to heave yourself into. For those of you who don't know, I drive a 95 Firebird and that car practically lays on the ground. So from the guy in the truck, he probably thought I was all over his ass-end and all up underneath his truck. Which is called tailgating.

But get this... he rolled down his window, stuck his head out and yelled something at the cop that I didn't hear, because 1) My music is ALWAYS ON. 2) I had my windows rolled up. and 3) I was already pissed cause I had to sit through traffic just to go to the post office.

So I drive a little more, thinking he just spit tobacco filled saliva on the ground or something. Cop is behind me. Okay... I turn left, look in the rear view mirror and he has his lights on. So I pull over. Handsome young cop.

Cop: "Miss, did you happen to hear what that guy in front of you said, driving the gray truck?"
Me: "He said something? Uhm, no I had my music on and my windows weren't rolled down."
Cop: "Did you to something to anger him and cause him to yell for me to get you off his ass?"
Me: "No I didn't."
Cop: "So you weren't tailgating him?"
Me: "Of course I wasn't tailgating him. This is a road to the highway, and everyone's just idling through. I'm sure that you saw how close the cars were since you looked over when he yelled at you, and saw my car to pursue to pull me over. I'm sure that I wasn't closer to his back bumper than he was to the car in front of him."
Cop: *Stares, a little bewildered* May I see your driver's license so that I can check the registration and insurance, then you can be on your way?"

Like really... When I get pulled over for a reason, why do I have to get the ROOKIE cop? I didn't do anything wrong and I still get a warning. Of course, it could be worse. I'm grateful, but still. I get a warning because of some JERK that probably wanted me up his truck's ass anyway >_< It peeve'd me off because I've been tired and achey and haven't had a good day.
